Preamplifier "PreAmp 58F"
Minimalist control center with extremely inconvenient operation. No remote source selection. No remote volume control. Three inputs and one output, either symmetric or unsymmetric. Galvanic isolation of the ground between input and output. Neither the power supply nor the signal processing feature ICs. No voltage amplification with transistors. Rechargeable batteries for power supply - that's history. Capacitors are used to supply this preamplifier with energy. They deliver a current of 800 amperes, if required. However, power consumption is usually rather low. The volume is controlled by two LowZ TVCs from Serge Schmidlin - the worldwide respected hi-fi guru. A discrete voltage follower from Burson Audio is used to supply the TVCs. Only the fastest and most musical capacitors available on the market are used for buffering.The cabinet is made of wood, the individual scantlings are bonded by bone or skin glue. Components responsible for the sound are finished with C37 varnish. The highlights:
-> Highest quality components for voltage supply and signal path
-> Symmetric or unsymmetric inputs and outputs, as required
-> Signal and power supply wired with silver
-> High-quality RCA jacks or XLR jacks
-> Power supply by capacitors
