Copper Cable ON.HIGH
- 4 conductors, diameter of each 0.5 mm
- cross section: 0.2 mm²
- purity at least 99.99% (4N)
- enamelled copper wire
- dielectric: cotton
- cryo-treated
ON.HIGH was developed for the symmetric connection of devices in studio applications. The outer plastic sheath provides for decent robustness in daily use. The insulation primarily consists of cotton. The two inner wires are twisted, the two outer wires spiral around them. With this topology, this cable opens up numerous possibilities for any DIYer. The cable may of course also be used as an rca interconnect and even as a speaker cable.
DIY Internal Wiring Kit
- for high-end-quality internal wiring of speakers and amplifiers
- cross section per conductor (5 single solidcore wires): 1 mm²
- all necessary material plus tool included
- also ready-for-connection available
For high-end-quality internal wiring of components. The cable is based on the ON.HIGH copper wire. These solidcore wires are sort of baked like many manufacturers do with their coils. Therefor the cable will be soaked with the c37-varnish during building. You will get a relatively stiff cable and therefor only suitable for internal wiring. But this cable will be very immune to microphonic und resonance effects. Comprehensive instruction included.

Silver Wire
- diameter 0.5 mm
- cross section: 0.2 mm²
- purity at least 99.99% (4N)
- long-crystalline
- polished surface
- cryo-treated
Silver Foil
- thickness 0.07 mm
- width 30 mm
- cross section: 2.1 mm²
- resistance: 7.6 mΩ/m (at 20°C)
- purity at least 99.99 mass percent (4N)
- coarsely crystalline
- rolled surface, highly glossy
- cryo-treated
There is always room for improvement! Together with my metal supplier we improved surface quality of the silver and copper foil significantly. This is now highly glossy! And we raised thickness from 0.05 to 0.07 mm. The best foil I ever had.
Copper Foil (OFCu)
- thickness 0.07 mm
- width 30 mm
- cross section: 2.1 mm²
- resistance: 8.0 mΩ/m (at 20°C)
- purity at least 99.99 mass percent (4N)
- coarsely crystalline
- rolled surface, highly glossy
- cryo-treated
Unbleached Cotton Jacketing
- for insulating and protecting audio cables and electronic parts
- prevents undesired electrostatic charging
- effectively absorbs impact sound
- sizes are rough values; the jackets may be stretched or compressed considerably
WBT RCA Connectors
- WBT-PlasmaProtect
- contacts NOT magnetic
- exceptional sound qualities
- patented WBT clamping mechanism
- cryo-treated
The "nextgen" from WBT shines with the minimum-material-principle and a patented clamping mechanism for the ground signal. Now with the new PlasmaProtect method for the gold plating.
KLEI Innovations
The "Next Generation" from Keith Eichmann has some improvements to offer. IMHO the best about this truly high-end plug is it's price!
Hollow Banana Plug
- base material: beryllium copper
- contacts NOT magnetic!
- direct gold plating (NO nickel)
- cryo-treated
The standard plug for speaker cables. Minimum use of material. Very stable and durable.
Pure Silver Spade Connector
- purity at least 99.99 mass percent (4N)
- suits 6 and 8 mm binding posts
- width front: 14mm; width back: 10 mm; length: 30 mm; thickness: 1 mm
- high polish finish
- cryo-treated
The standard for foil speaker cables. This spade connector loves to make contact!
Silver Jack for Hollow Bananas
- purity at least 99.99 mass percent (4N)
- formed out of silver sheet metal with a thickness of 0.5 mm
- high polish finish
- cryo-treated
- reduces eddy current by design
Simple but effective contact element. Only a 5 mm bore dia necessary to mount in e.g. wood or any other non-conductive material. Provides best contact for hollow bananas.
IeGo IEC Connector
- Furukawa copper contacts
- housing in black or transparent
- cryo-treated
For those who want to make their own power cords!
Bals 7372 Safety Plug
- unbeatable value for money
- unbeatable value for money

And here comes the Safety plug for the cord.
TentLabs XO 4.2336MHz
- extremely low-jitter clock
- for the first Philips CD player generation
- including ferrite bead and DIP-socket
The master clock of first-generation Philips CD players features a frequency of 4.2336 MHz. Guido Tent was so kind to provide this frequency to me. The clock is 100 times more accurate compared to the original quartz.
Acrylic Hood for the
creek 4040
- lid and sidewalls made of 8 mm thick cast acrylic glass "frost"
- also available in transparent or dyed
- easy replacement of the original tin lid
- dampens unwanted vibrations / resonances
- heat sink firmly screwed to the new cover
Did Mike Creek realise back then that a metal lid on an amplifier doesn't necessarily sound better? At least I can't imagine that the original wooden lid was chosen for cost reasons.
However the acrylic glass lid enhances this amplifier treasure not only visually, but also sonically. A nice example of the effect of the acrylic is the screw connection of the heat sink to the lid. If the screws are not tightened, the cooling fins slowly fade out after hitting them. With the screws tightened, this resonance is clearly damped.

C37-Varnish
- optimized for room temperature
- with suitable thinner
- with syringe and needle for comfortable measure out and mixing
- here you find instructions how to use (german only)
Dieter Ennemoser for me is a constant instance regarding violin varnisch.
Cryo-Treatment
- alters grain structure positively
- increases contact-durability
- reduces stress in material
My new address for cryo-tuning is George Forester! Fair prices and this guy nows what he is talking about! As far as I know, this process was developed for motor sports before audio-enthusiasts discovered it. It is kind of aging the material that leads into a relaxed structure in the material. Already the old Japanese buried their Samurai swords into the snow over the winter to be successful in the battle ...
