In the beginning ...
It all began in 2009. With the plug story shown in the picture above. The idea was simple: Is it possible for the conductor itself to become the plug contact in an audio cable? No solder joint, no change of material, no unnecessary interruption between cable and contact. Ideal conditions for optimal signal transmission.
After a few setbacks, the cable with the little wooden plugs was born. I read The SuperCables CookBook by Allen Wright and ventured into my first foil speaker cable. Since then, I have always been searching for potential improvements: simpler signal paths, better materials, cleaner transitions and solutions that are genuinely audible.
Over the years, this work has led to several cable products with which I am happy to enrich the audio world. Among them are the single-ground-conductor interconnect, the MFC cable series and a USB cable with battery pack.
My aspiration for audio cables has remained the same to this day: to build connections that place as little as possible between music and listener.
